Actual letter heights are 1 inch for "normal" letters such as "a, c, e, i, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z" Allow 1.125 inches for "hanging" letters such as "g, j, p, q, y" and 1.25 inches for capital letters and "tall" letters such as "b, d, f, h, k, l, t" Maximum plate size is 22 letters per plate, not counting punctuation or spaces.
